What's going on people? I'm new to this 370z community and want to just share my first steps with y'all. I bought this on December 8th, 1 day before my birthday (the 9th) so im pretty stoked! I enjoy every second in it :driving: but this is my first standard car & im just wondering what is the proper rpm to up-shift. It has a nice aftermarket exhaust so the sound gets louder quick so kind of throws me off when to shift. Ha, im sure y'all advanced ppl could help. Thanks :stirthepot:

Shifting all depends on what you're doing. If casually cruising, shift around 3k. If gunning it, don't be afraid to tickle the red line :)

On medium to heavy traffic or city driving, I shift every 2k. If I want to go a little bit faster but still be economic, I do it every 2.5k. Anything past that is me screwing around. :driving: You can also change the the shift indicator, I have mine at 5k, personal preference.
