New 2013 Black 6MT!

1 Attachment(s)
Just picked up a new 2013 Black 6MT! Looking to add an exhaust with a nice tone. Any recommendations? Don't want anything that's going to make me go insane on the hwy, but has a nice around town tone. Also, this is the first MT I have owned where shifting through 1st & 2nd have been so rough... guess its gonna take a bit longer to get used to it.

Fast Intentions with 18" resonators best exhaust out on the market for the Z. You may want to start using the search tool on the forum header. You can also see lots of threads on the shifting from 1st to 2nd. I put in a different clutch helper spring to ease the shifting feel. Congratulations on your new ride and :welcome:

Welcome and congrats!
I know what you mean about the 1st to 2nd shift, my car is like that too

I did some Binging and I could not find anything on any Z car.

Congrats & Welcome on the 13! As Dzel posted, change out the clutch helper spring, it helps.

I posted this article awhile back:

Perhaps GTLAW is referring to this article Nissan talked about for the new RS platform and all the potential power bumps.

Congrats OP on your new Z!

Hi

Inda370z 12-06-2012 07:16 AM

Thanks everyone! I'll take a look at replacing the clutch helper spring. This is my daily driver and am amazed at the MPG I'm actually getting... 26.7 hwy! can't wait to add a few things

EDIT:

Clutch helper spring ordered :D
