This past week I purchased a bright silver 2009 Touring with 16,000 miles. This will be a garage queen like my previous "toy cars". I will put it away for the winter.
This weekend: Disabled steering wheel lock. Washed car and removed old wax. Compounded hood (didn't have a clay bar) Made a plug so I can plug in my battery maintainer. 4 coats of Zaino. (more to come) Checked and torqued all lugs. (most needed a 3' bar to break them) Installed cabin air filter. Ordered wheel locks. Then, I went for a ride and "jumped on it" to the red line several times thru 1st and 2nd gears. What fun !!! What a great car. What a great forum.
