Default Excellent choice over...

We looked and looked... 3 series, S4 & 5, G37s, Mustangs and the Z370. Once we made a decision there wasn't a dealer near us that wanted to get us the car we wanted, so that's when I turned to the web - the370z.com (more to come on this experience).

Thumbs up Bought our 370Z from Lou Fusz

After looking at the new G37s, the BMW 3s & M3s, the Mustangs and the Audi A4 & S5s, we decided we wanted a 370Z. The Audi S5 was our first choice, but the standard tranny model wasn’t going to be available until August and our current Infiniti lease was up in June.

I contacted all of the local dealers here in Columbus, there are three and only one of them was willing to get us the 370Z with the options. We wanted an 09 Touring with the sport package, black on black, manual 6 sp and nav. Not really what you’d think would be a difficult order. We test drove one about a month before we decided to purchase, so I knew they existed. Yet, the dealerships all acted like I was asking for 24k gold flake metallic paint. The one dealership that was willing to work with us located one out of state, but wanted us to pay for transport of the vehicle they were going to trade for it and the transport of the new 370Z to Ohio. The first estimate was $1500.00 and the second was $1100.00 – for a flatbed, not even enclosed.

I jumped on the internet and began my own search. I initially read through a few posts on this site when I was looking for buyer feedback. I was searching for chronic problems that owners are experiencing and opinions of the new first-time owners. I must say, mostly everything I read was positive. When I started my internet search for an available 370Z I immediately came back to this site and cruised down to the dealer inventory thread. Found the post for “370 Inventory (Located in Midwest) and started reading. I found a write up that included details on acquiring the car, contact information, shipping, a long list of current inventory and contact information. I was thinking this guy has already done more for me that any local dealership. I sent an email and within a few hours I had a reply, a phone call and a commitment from Lou to locate a car that we wanted. It was barely two full days later when he called me back with several options.

Needless to say, we bought the car from Lou. Honestly, this was the most satisfying car buying experience I’ve ever had. He and his staff are exceptionally attentive. There wasn’t one phone call or one email that went without call back or reply. My experience was so good, that if Fusz had a retail appliance store I be buying my next washer and dryer there. All kidding aside, I most definitely will be contacting Lou for my next vehicle.

Lou is a first class business man, but he’s a person first. He’s honest, direct and informative.

Thanks again Lou! Darcy and I love our new 370Z.

Should anyone have questions form me feel free to PM me.

Lou’s contact information can be found in the dealer thread, but I’ve added it below as well:
