Bose audio= Genius! I haven't driven manual in a few years, but I feel its a must in the 370! sad to say... I stalled on my drive home from the dealership.... such a flashy car which makes it really embarrassing.. |

Nice got mine from CarMax as well.
IMPORTANT: 1. Change your oil immediately, carmax will most likely have changed the oil as part of the service. I'm very certain that they do not put quality synthetic oil, probably used whatever bulk oil they have in drums. - After changing the oil i noticed much quieter engine operation as well as smoother gear shifts. 2. Go easy on the gas pedal, carmax also fills the car up with their own inhouse gas station which is no better than grade 87. Your Z requires at least 91. -After waiting until half tank, i put 93 grade fuel and immediately noticed a tremendous boost in gas pedal feel and acceleration. Geez, and i thought right off the lot the 370 was quick, haha! I personally paid 50+ for better gas and oil and piece of mind. Enjoy Last edited by Tribalpinoy91; 06-22-2012 at 11:52 PM. |

Thanks for the tips!! I originally thought that just maybe they put a lower grade fuel in it, but I quickly forgot about it as I drove it off the lot understandably.
Any specific oil you recommend? Ill be sure to burn that fuel as quickly as possible in a low speed way. |

People here like redline, i've only heard good about it and it seems the majority use it. Another good one is Amsoil which is a real pure synthetic, I personally use Pennzoil ultra which in the US and made readily to the everyday consumer, is pennz's top shelf. I've read somewhere on another board that Ferrari factory fillup uses shell helix ultra. In the states it isn't sold. Mind you shell and pennzoil are ofcthe same maker..mainly why i choose it and its one of the better oils off the shelf of a autostore. It's a group IV oil.
