Had my 2009 370Z SP for 2 weeks now, exhaust and intake questions?

I traded in my 350z with 170K miles on it. I miss the 350Z ( been through alot with that car ) but I love my Magnetic Black 370 already.

I traded in my 350z with 170K miles on it. I miss the 350Z ( been through alot with that car ) but I love my Magnetic Black 370 already. I can't believe the stock exhaust is so quiet. Doesn't sound anything like the 350Z. You really have to wind second and third gears out to hear the exhaust note. Why did they change that wonderful sound the stock 350 had? Also , I have 12K on the 370 and noticed the air filters are a lttle dirty. What do recommend to replace them? K&N drop ins? something else? Thanks
