Just purchased **Black Cherry Sport**
I would have liked to get the NISMO and was determined to get it until I drove the sport 370. The only thing I am missing for the 8K I would pay more for the NISMO is the suspension and about 30 HP (I can get that from the exhaust and cold air filter). All in all I can do the mechanical upgrades for about 3-4K so I think I am good. I like the normal front end better anyway. I love it! It is fast and furious to death!.. I am still breaking it but once that first oil change is done I should be good. I got the Black Cherry because I really like that color. Had an Audi A4 Avant real close to that color. Cant wait to get her on the track sometime and start crossing with her.

Congratulations. Hope you enjoy it. I just bought mine 3 weeks ago and like it very much. I was thinking of getting the dark cherry but wanted the persimmon leather, so ended up going with the pearl white exterior.

I felt the same way about the NISMO....I love my features like heated seats, PS, Suede & Leather, and too like the non nismo look. I'll be doing that intake and exhuast $2,000 upgrade....and thats all she will need!!

18hp instead of 30.. good to know.. so I guess that could be achieved with just exhaust. lol.. Yeah.. I think i can save myself the 8K and DIY the upgrades to what I want for a lot less. I am in the military so I have a great big garage with all the tools and lifts I need to work on it (anywhere I go). Plus, doing the mods yourself feels a lot better when your done. I have one pic on my profile and just uploaded a pic of the blacked out emblems I just did. They look awesome! Also got the windows done 5% all the way around.

Black Cherry is a very interesting color. Beautiful when it's all clean and polished up but it does show the bugs, dust, swirls almost as much as a black car (my wife has a Murano in Sapphire Black). To keep Black Cherry looking really stunning, you'll want to seriously consider a Porter Cable or Flex-based polishing system (watch Junkman videos).
Congratulations on the car. I love mine. Last edited by MacCool; 05-30-2012 at 04:21 PM. |
