Just purchased a new 2012 black 370Z, auto, base coupe with aero kit. Nothing to fancy on the inside but that's what I could afford, but dang it's sexy looking.

Back in black
Just purchased a new 2012 black 370Z, auto, base coupe with aero kit. Nothing to fancy on the inside but that's what I could afford, but dang it's sexy looking. Been making stiff necks of other people driving it to and from work....best part of the day...except for being with my wife that is, lol. Been spending a lot of time in the garage lately. Couldn't hardly sleep the first night I got it. 370Z's are pound for pound the best sports car on the planet IMHO. Took a coulple pics in the garage. Hoping to get some nice outside sunset shots if we have a nice day this next week.

Yeah, us SoCal people are lucky in that sense.

Congratulations and welcome! Black looks the best when all cleaned up. A B**tch to keep clean, but I look upon that as a labor of love and an opportunity to spend time with the machine I enjoy. Again, welcome aboard, enjoy!

Yes, black is a pain to maintain, but when it's clean, nothing compares! The wife gets jealous because I spend more time pampering the Z rather than her! LOL

Yeah, I've had the car for 9 days and I have already done a sythetic wax and buff, plus have wiped the dust off top to bottom with a special mitt about every other day. I bought 2 of those fancy mitts and rotate and wash. I've never pampered a car like that, but man it looks sexy when it's mirror shiny. Your right though, cleaning black is worth it, it gives me quality time with the car and wiping in down seems like petting a cat, you can almost hear it purr.

Nice choice! Pretty much picked up the same model as you, and I need to wax mine when I get a chance for sure. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you snag yours, minus the extras. Congrats though, I love mine but get a new deck ASAP!

Congrats I pick my Mag Black on Monday...i was worried with the black as well but as long as you maintain the exterior regular you will be fine.
Best of luck |
