Just got my base + Sport M6 370Z in Pearl White, Love the car, it beat out a V8 mustang Gt to win my approval, although it was a close battle. I just think the Z is a little more classy and less common.

Congratulations!!! Are you saying that you raced or just talking about your options before you bought the Z?

No racing, It was just one of my options. I don't think a 370 will take a 5.0 mustang in a straight line anyway :tup:

theres actually a few vids on youtube and i believe there was a thread about that as well. the Z wins on a straight away with a mustang 5.0. and the Z it is actually 1sec quicker than the 5.0 (its been proven and tested)

I looked at getting another mustang as well but was not impressed. Glad I ended up with a z. Great choice!

The high occurrence of "Mustang vs. Z threads" is likely because many people cross shop these two cars. There was a narrow margin separating the two vehicles during my purchasing decision, I can understand why there is increased debate and discussion.
