I have always been a fan of the 135i even though I feel it is overpriced. And welcome!!!

T04e, spearco IC with handbuilt/welded end tanks that fit with the angles of the front bumper, apex gauges custom installed into the dashboard. Apex turbo N1's with full custom piping including manifold. AVC-R among other little things. Veilside wing, CF hood, Enkei wheels just for shows. I would put them on the night before and remove them immediately once I got home. Other parts; Spoon x-brace, spring, sways, voodoo shift knob, and endless 24 slotted rotors. http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/6279/slos2k.jpg |

I think you've owned every car that I looked at before buying the Z. I am very jealous lol. Congrats on the z though, and I like the bike a lot!
|
 I wish I had your guts to ride does bikes!
|
Congrats on the ride

Very nice rides indeed. I just sold my 2005 ZX-10r street bike and CBR600RR. Gonna miss them for sure but thought it was time to move on to cars for awhile. Strongly considered a 2012 Mustang GT but decided on the Z instead. Welcome aboard, I'm a new member too. I'll be receiving my 2012 red zed in about a week or so.

Thanks everyone.

Car is not getting anything done right now. Race season is very busy and COSTLY even with sponsorships. First race started in 30th and in the second wave but fought my way back to 6th. 2nd race was at pikes peak international raceway and managed to finish 3rd. Next round is June 9th..... |
Cool, nothing like riding the track eh. You must be pretty proficient if you have sponsorship. I found myself riding the 10R on the street very infrequently the last few years and taking the CBR to track days. It's a blast knowing no tickets, trucks pulling in front of you, big pile of rocks mid corner etc etc. You are right, I'll probably get another one within a year or so LOL.

1st round at High Plains Raceway

"OK Rider?" WTF ever! You've been racing for years now! I'm sure you're above average!

Well in 07 I started trackdays religously on every non-raining weekend and holidays haha. In 08' I started racing and ran out of money after two race weekends, then quit riding. Sold all my bikes in 09-10 after sitting in the garage all that time. Bought the ZX mid last year, still getting back into it. It's pretty un-nerving racing at tracks you have never been to and I am still settling in. Took the bike to my first race this season with I think 4 total rides (3 in the street/canyons) And the way I do it, is very unconventional, I run 6 laps during one practice and then sit around until my race. Not like others who have been there many times, go the day before, run every practice session and such. I am still on stock rear sets (pegs) which is bad since they drag, with my short legs, it's a little tougher getting up and over the seat to throw the bike around and move on the bike. Also the stock suspension is untouched, stupid on my part but it was working alright. Hopefully I will be able to improve my standings for the season after a 6th then a 3rd, right now I am in 4th for the season, I beat the 3rd place guy in the last race which is who I am after each race since he is an arrogant prick. I want a top 5 finish for the season. Any top 10 and I get mandatory bumped to the expert class next year which is what I am after. |
