First mod
I have had my 370z for a few months now and i love it, im just not sure what to get first and i need some opinions!
|
Take a breeze through the forum rules since you're new here, it will explain to you the Search Feature, which is your friend and can help you with a lot of the questions you'll have.
:welcome: |
will do thank you!

^Since this is a forum where you converse amongst peers and not Google might I suggest looking into breathing mods EmmatheNismo. Id say most people will go with intakes first. The Stillen Gen 3 is very popular. An exhaust from Fast Intentions is also quite popular and produces excellent gains. If you plan on tracking it at all an oil cooler is necessary. Good luck modding, glad you are enjoying the car:tup:

Do Exhaust/HFC's first, then read through the forums about intakes. There are a lot of debates whether the CAI's are worth the money or not after other bolt on's are applied...

welcome to you..and me!
Just took delivery on my baby 4 days ago... 9 mi on it. now..almost 300 =) Tinted the windows with ceramics yesterday.. put an order on F.I. SS 18" reso'd CBE.. as I don't know if its me..or what.. but the '12 seems quieter than before.. want some extra umph.. and a better sound..but still residential friendly.. Now its time to think about intake.. maybe just start with K&N drop ins... thing is.. dont want to go too crazy for a bit.. and waste warranty.. so..on the fence... anyway, welcome.. Im fully stoked and love this car! |
I'm new too and I think I'm going to go for that GTR start button. I'm tinting my windows this weekend, and might be powder coating my wheels next week. Honestly I don't think i'll need a performance mod for another few months, but I have heard that the K&N adds 10 rwh which is enough to feel a difference.

Berk CBE with K&N drops ins... then you are golden... then HFC's!
|
If you have a manual the clutch helper spring is supposed to be a good one. $20 and 2 minutes of your time! Enjoy the car!
