I've waited 19 years...
 

Hello all,

I've waited 19 years for this day.........I pick up my 370z today. From the time I rode in my Uncle's 300Z back when I was 16, I've wanted this car. Today, I get to bring home my Zed.

Just saying hello and looking forward to learning a bit about my first "fun" vehicle.

I know the feeling. Prior to this 370Z that I bought about 9 months ago, I sold my 6th Z car (a 1982 280ZX Turbo) in about 1984. I've had a 240Z, a 260 Z, two 280Z's, a 280ZX, and then the Turbo...then a 28 year wait for the 370Z. It is, by far IMHO, the best Z yet.

I had a 280zx turbo too! 83. Loved that car (but not as much as my 370)!!!

That 280ZX Turbo had some real snort, but I do remember the turbo lag, and the handling was consistent with the bloated GT Luxo-cruiser that it was. IMHO, the 370Z is more fun than I ever remember the Turbo being.

Definitely no comparison IMO. I loved my 280 but not even in the same league as the 370....during it's time tho, the 280 was the shiz!

Congrats, you'll quickly see it was well worth the wait to finally get your Z
