New Northern Va owner
Picked up my 2011 Brilliant Silver Touring fully loaded 370Z two days ago and must say its one of the most exciting cars ive ever driven in, and definitely the best handling. I traded in my 06 M3 vert, which was a blast to drive, until something broke, which was VERY often. Ill just miss that smg, as ive noticed shifts much quicker than the tranny in this (had to get an auto due to 5 pins in my knee). Ive owned nothing but german vehicles as my "toys" (i have a honda as my DD) so owning Japanese is a first. For the price for a brand new car, this is hands down the best deal out there. Hope to meet some fellow enthusiasts in the Northern Va area.

Welcome!
There are a lot of us in NOVA. Check the two links in my signature. We have a meet in Fairfax this Saturday. |
Nice, im in Gainesville, I see you meet at the Starbucks in Fair Lakes. I cant make it this Saturday, but the next saturday for sure. Bone stock Z here though. Just as long as theyre not anything like stuck up M3 owners ill be there. (M3 owners at the meets I showed up to were the worst)

We will be in MD next weekend, though. We alternate between MD/VA locations. |
Sounds good. How many people show up on average to fair lakes approximately? So the 19th you'll be in Fair Lakes? From reading the posts on this forum its a whole different crowd than what im used to. If you guys will be in fair lakes the 19th ill be the "noob" in the stock Brilliant silver.

Turnout really depends. Sometimes it's only a handful, other times it's more. Usually if you follow this thread ( http://www.the370z.com/mid-atlantic-...rday-10am.html ) ahead of the meet you get an idea of how many are going to be there.

thank you sir, the new mustang I was actually considering, im curious to see how yours is. But I like handling over straight line power. The meets should be cool.... (just as long as politics arent brought up between you and I according to your avatar LOL ;) )

You have me curious now if youre talking about handling in the Mustang

It's a bit of a ringer. It's more at home on a twisty road than it is on a drag strip.
|
Im suprised you guys dont do skyline drive runs, going up 211 in Luray/Sperryville is the best for twisty roads....two lanes, barely any cops, its the best

RandyD is our resident Cruise Meister. He sets them up from time to time.
What we do do that is more fun is go to ZDayZ every year and run The Dragon. |
