New to the group, with my purchase of a new 2012 370z coupe with sports package, color is black cherry with black interior, 6 speed manual.

Shouldn't you put a few miles on it to break it in before taking it AutoX'ing? :ugh2:

More than just a few really. I don't remeber the break in mileage but it's over 1k for sure. Something like don't go WOT, don't ride at speeds of 50 plus for any extended time or some such sh1t. I read my manual and did the break in as it listed but i haven't looked in it since then.

engine break in is not needed. Only concern is gear break in, should be done in 300 or so.

engines are broken in within the first 25 miles or so.
