New 370Z Owner in MN
Hello!
I had never owned a Nissan until today, and I must admit it is an amazing car! The car I picked up today is the touring edition in Monterrey Blue with the aero package and factory tint. All I can say is "wow", it is so much fun to drive. My previous car was a 2003 Mazda6 S, and it was nice, but I hardly ever used all the space and I wanted a smaller car. Anyone else here from MN? I am a long-time lurker, and this is my first post. Edit: SP |

Yup, I live in Eagan, MN (just south of St. Paul). I had a number of friends that graduated from the engineering program at UMN over the last few years. I attended Ausgburg college right by the U.

Yeah, good ol engineering school... lol. My best friend is still in Minneapolis. He transferred to the business school REAL quick. Can't say I blame him.
If you see a brand spanking new TSX around, that could be him. Smoke his *** for me, cause I owe him one :P hahaha |

I will definitely smoke 'em.
To change gears a little - While looking for the car, there wasn't a lot of choices with colors around the Twin Cities. My blue one was shipped up from MO. and after seeing the color in-person, I was really glad with my choice. The interior looks and feels very nice, and I was surprised how well it fit me (I am 6'2'' and 200lbs). The car holds me in place so much better than my Mazda, and it still has plenty of room. I was looking between the RX-8 and the Z, and after driving both, I liked the Z better. The RX-8 was OK, but I didn't want the hassle of the rotary engine. Hopefully, I should some pictures to post here in the next few days. |
