Finally!!!!!!

Went ahead and got myself a 2011 Z today. They didn't have what I wanted on their lot (GM sport touring 6MT) so for now, I have a base MB 6MT as a loaner. My car should arrive within the week. I'm super excited!!! Sorry if this post is a little premature since I don't have MY car yet, but I couldn't wait. lol

Welcome! At least you get to drive a Z while you wait for yours. That is a pretty sweet deal.

The only downside is its gonna have 300mi on it cause they're gonna drive it here, but I got them to give me an extra discount.

Thats cool that there gave you a Z to drive while you wait for your Z. Not a big fan of the driving your new car for 300 miles, but at least you got a discount. I could never understand why more dealers did not have there own flat bed to get cars. My local Nissan dealer did and when I ordered my 08 Frost White 3.5SE 6spd Altima Sedan they sent there flatbed up to Massachusetts to get it.

I wasn't thrilled bout that either, but I intend to give the car a good look over before I accept it. I'll chalk it up to them helping me break it in. 300mi would take me about 2 months.

Not all dealers have, or can afford a flatbed or the cost of leasing one. My local dealership is pretty small. My dealer They didn't have any Z's in stock and had to go 400 miles to Milwaukee to get mine. A retired couple made the trip. I met the lady that drove my Z back. She's gotta be 70 years old. I had no problem with the concept...that much less mileage for break-in, and that mileage doesn't count against the warranty.
