I'd like to trade-in the Si for a 370Z. '08 with 8k miles on her. Do I just go to a stealership, and just trade it in? I still owe around 20k on her. Just wondering how to go about it.

If you still owe money you might be best selling it to a private buyer, but the best way to go about it.

Go to a dealership and start working on the Z price, do not mention the trade in.
Once the Z price is down, bring in the trade in and find out how much they will give you for it. If it is less than what you owe (say you owe 20,000 and they offer 18,000), they might roll the remaining 2,000 into your new loan or not.

O'k....Thanks alot for the heads-up advise. Now, should I start e-mailing the stealerships or would walking in be better? I'd like to buy either the graphite or the white w/sports pkg. I really like the persimmon interior, for it's a very unusal color. Do you think I could buy it, for let's say, $200.00 below invoice?
Or is that too far fetched? Now, I'm not sure what to do. Keep the Civic or just go out and get the Z. Tough decisions.

I am sure you are familiar with this thread, but if not: 2009 Nissan 370z invoice Price
I went with emailing first, you will probably get the internet sales guy that way and they many times are more willing to jump at an invoice price than the floor guys. 200 below is not out of the question, but you might get it in differenent ways. Free oil changes, free part (wheel locks - which if so please refer this link). Your best bet for a tough choice is to do a pro/cons list, which does really work, think about what you gain/loose, finance, etc. If the pros are winning and a dealership has a price you are liking, then go for a first test drive and see if it is what you want.

also get it in writing about the price of the Z first before you start mentioning the
trade-in. I ended up selling to carmax cuz they gave the better deal on civic.

DuNw/4BanGerZ, you and I should do a photoshoot when I get back. Granted, your car will pop off of the screen but Zöe will provide the dirty side.
