Just picked up a 370Z...
Hey, new member. I'm sure you get that a lot. :D
I trade in my trusty old 350Z Enthusiast on a pretty Pearl White '11 Z 6MT with sport & touring yesterday. I'm loving the car so far! Although I do think the 370 is a better looking car, on paper, it was tough to let go of the 350Z... Until I sat in a 370Z, and test-drove it. :icon17: Part of that is due to the new Z being a touring. I kind of wished I'd gotten the touring when I picked up my 350, but I bought it way toward the end and there weren't many manuals left, and I got a great deal on it, so I was happy. But seeing the nice new interior with the leather/suede definitely piqued my interest. I have to say, though I wouldn't say the 350 was a bad car in any way, the 370 feels tighter, quicker, better interior... Except one thing - you guys are right about that multi-function gauge, that's sort of cheesy, but my left hand blocks my view of it most of the time, thankfully. :driving: Anyway, there's some great info here, some of which I might even read before asking dumb questions. ;) |

Thanks!
Unfortunately it's "sever weather" here in Central Indiana so here she sits with 200 miles waiting for the "possible large hail" to pass (it's in a garage, thankfully...) I forgot about that 1200 mile Nissan break-in (longest in the industry AFAIK) and how tough it is to keep your foot out of it and the revs down. :( Oh well, 1000 more miles under 4K RPM and I can really try out the S-mode. :D |
Welcome

I'll hit 1000 miles today... I've been driving it as much as I have time. Keep getting stuck in traffic on the highway to/from work but that's ok, easy revving to 4,000 in 1st gear over and over is just what it needs. :D
