There is some drone with the 18" as well. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the HFCs because of the hiss and extra rasp. I felt like the 18" catback had a really nice tuned sound. Plenty loud enough IMO but not so loud that it'll get you into trouble.

I tried to get my Saint Bernard to sit by the car while taking the pics but you really cant tell a 120lb dog what to do or at the least get him to sit long enough for a picture
when he was a pup I used to put him in the hatch back of my old 350. that didnt last long |

See I would like something that I can hear the exhaust from inside the car under accel.
My 350 stock you could really hear that burble and exhause sound i feel with the 370 I hear more engine. Dont get me wrong its still a good noise but its not that sexy exotic exhaust sound. I want more of that with this new tire i just bought I might take a bit longer to get this exhaust project going. |

You can more than hear the exhaust from inside the car even with just the 18" cat back. It's pretty loud.

this is the exoticness in terms of sound I would look for. Maybe a bit extreme but still like he says
"thats a proper noise" skip to around 50 secs but I still want it quiet when you want so this is a bit over the top i know |

Unfortunately you can't really get the VQ37 to sound like that, but I think you'd be pretty happy with FI exhaust with or without HFCs.
