Just want to say "Hi" and thank you all for sharing your experiences with your Z.
I decided to buy one in Milwaukee just from reading this forum. An 09 Touring, with Sport package and A7. Had my fill of sticks for awhile, this auto with the paddle shift is awesome!! My wife and I flew to Milwaukee on Friday and drove it home from the dealership, to Des Moines, Iowa the same day. So happy your opinions of the Z were correct, I would not have liked driving a rental car home!! I almost gave up finding a car that would equal my 2002 Trans Am without getting a Vette. Nothing wrong with a Corvette, just kind of like a Mustang, you see them everywhere. The more I drive the Z, the more I appreciate it. I could not believe how quiet and smooth the ride is for a sports car. The Trans Am had so much road noise and the tires would really sing out on the highway. TA has the power down low, compared to the Z, but when the Z winds up it takes off like a rocket Here is a picture of my new toy. |
