New Z owner in Maryland
Thought I'd stop in and introduce myself. My name is Brian and I live in AA County in MD.
I picked up a used Z with 38k miles on it the other day for what I thought was a good deal. The car has an aftermarket radio(I'm now looking to buy a factory non bose radio), scuffs on all 4 sport wheels and a few nicks and scratches on both bumpers and the hood but since I got it for 18.8 I was able to overlook most of those problems. It drives great as far as I can tell (never been in another z) but after some spirited driving on some back roads over the weekend I noticed that the oil temps do run hot on this particular car (will be contacting AAM for an oil cooler) and I also experienced the clutch briefly sticking to the floor a few times (will be switching to Motul fluid to see if it cures this). Overall I'm extremely happy with the deal that I got and I was able to get into a Z for 18.8k plus tax, tags and title. |
