Hello everyone. Next week I will become a proud owner of my first Z. I have worked at a Nissan dealership for 8 years and have worked my way up in the company. I decided after all the years of seeing the smiles on peoples faces as they drive off in their new Z that it is my time to do the same. I am waiting till next week to see if Nissan is going to drop any extra money on the hood for Presidents day weekend. So until then it is sitting in the showroom with us both wishing the snow would go away.

Sad picture of how not to take care of your GTR. It is supposed to be black.

Congrats and welcome. Nice color. I have the same. Sad thing for the GTR. But it still looks sexy. Any plans for your new Z to come?

Congratulations, the Z has been the most fun to drive out of all the cars that I have owned.

First thing I plan on doing is an exhaust. I have spent the last 3 days listening to sound clips from forum members. I think I have narrowed it down to an exhaust from Fast Intentions or Ark.

Combination of New England weather and the owner doesn't ever seem to care about the car. I think our recon guys are the only ones that ever clean the poor car.

Thumbs up

Great Choice, we just got our first 370Z in the same colour too. ( SV00)
I am right with you on the mods as well, but I got ask one question. Do any of the intake or exhaust mods affect the Nissan warranty? CAI & CBE w HFC

We live in Canada where there is a tonne of snow this year, can't wait to brake out the car for this spring.

An exhaust or intake should not affect the Nissan warranty. Unless of course it was improperly installed which lead to a more significant problem. I've seen Nissan cover some pretty crazy stuff that one would think wouldn't of been covered. Guess it depends on how good your local dealer is and how much they will fight to get things covered.

Thanks for the info. I kinda figured that some of the minor bolt-on stuff wouldn't have any impact to the warranty.

I have been spending sometime reviewing the sounds clips too. The combination with Stillen G3 CAI Stillen CBE and Berk's HFC sounds amazing. That is what I have my eye for mods this year.

What can you do with the stock CBE and Cat's?
