Traded the C6 Vette for a 370z touring
Hello all,
Obviously I am new here. I decided to trade my black C6 vette today for an 09 370z touring that is loaded. 6 speed manual of course along with nav. It has the Injen dual CAIs as well. I had grown tired of the C6 styling and the black paint was wearing me out. The previous owner had burned it pretty bad and I could not find anyone to perform a good correction on the paint. I drove the Z for the first time two weeks ago. Loved it then but wanted to think about it for a while. I decided today to go for it. There is an obvious power difference between the two cars but given I had an 05 with the 6.0 it was not huge. About 60 HP. I think that the Z wins in the handling department however and that is why I bought it. I look forward to learning more about my new purchase here. |

welcome, I kept my 05 C6 for about a year after I bought my 370. Finally sold it because I didn't drive either one much.
The Z is definitely lower in power, but for me, more satisfying to drive, especially on track.

Welcome, Nele. Give us a more detailed comparison after a couple weeks. It would be an interesting read!

Welcome!
You are not alone. I sold my 1000 HP twin turbo C5 to get a 370. No regrets!!! The Z is a blast to drive. Some day I will be adding forced induction to the Z.
