According to Road&Track the current performance pecking order is as follows:
Chevrolet Corvette Z06 405hp 0-60: 4.4 seconds 1/4 mile: 12.7 @ 115.2 mph 60-0 Braking: 107ft. Slalom: 70.2mph. I so often wonder why the slalom tests show the same ,similar, or better speeds do not seem to be 'wrung out', by real world drivers. The OP's feels that the Z handles better. I bet it does. Or is it just that some cars must be driven be the "Stig" to get full potential, and cars like the Z are easily driven? Mustangs post better times than my 300ZX tt, yet never once did any muscle car ever pose a challenge to it. Damned 335i did. To the OP, Nele22, welcome. I too would love to see a write up in a few weeks between the two sports cars.
