Got mine a couple of weeks ago, Pearl White Base Sport 6-speed. I was on my350 at first but this forum seems much friendlier.

My previous car was a 05 G35 6MT which was nice and all but this car is a blast.

Hey I used to live in Waltham :)

Nice car!

Thanks! Yeah, I don't know how many more years I will be able to take the snow myself. 60's and 70's in winter sounds like a lot more fun!

RCZ, do you have a thread discussing the mods you are planning for you HP goal? What track is your lap time from?

Yup. In the Members gallery and scattered in other places.

Both of you have great threads going to in the Members Gallery. Thank you.

SoCal 370Z 03-24-2009 02:48 PM

That a pretty slick 370Z, Mr. Slicks! ;)

ChrisSlicks 03-24-2009 03:51 PM

Thanks SoCal. I like your ClearBra install pics, they did a great job. I'm looking for someone local to do this.

First Autocross of the season starts in 11 days, so excited! I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas, LOL.

RCZ 03-24-2009 05:16 PM

Chris which one are you doing? I did SVTOA at devens a couple years ago and it was a BLAST. The back slalom was 80mph! Fastest Auto-X ever.

Let me recommend though, that you meet up with my friend Chad, he lives in Chelmsford and drives a 400whp track ready STI and go hit the REAL track with him.

ChrisSlicks 03-24-2009 07:28 PM

Yep SVTOA is the best and that is the first one! They are a great bunch of friendly guys as well. I will also be running with a couple of other clubs that use the full distance such as NESHOC and SCMC.

I will be doing some track events this year as well and will be taking your Homestead experience into consideration (I'm novice/intermediate). As soon as someone finds a workable, reliable oil cooling solution that maybe one of my first mods.

RCZ 03-24-2009 07:44 PM

I did the High Speed and accident avoidance course over at NHIS, it was a really good time and experience. I highly suggest you do it too.

I did a couple track days at NHIS before coming to FL. NHIS is actually a pretty interesting track with some nice elevation changes and some tricky corners. Definitely have an instructor and have some fun. As far as an oil cooler, I will be testing one out in the following weeks, I'll let everyone know how it goes.

welcome aboard, love the color.

ChrisSlicks 03-24-2009 08:25 PM

^^ I like your yellow Z. For some reason I was expecting white given your name :) Arizona is definitely not frosty.
