I have always liked performance, but after almost 20 years of riding high performance motorcycles (Hayabusa, R1 and now a BMW K1300S) in Montana during the period of no speed limits, the closest I would get to a sports car was an 07 Acura TL Type S, which was a great car, but that torque steer always tried to get the best of me.
So, at the suggestion of my wife, this past Monday I rode the BMW to the Nissan dealer to test drive a 370Z, figuring I couldn't buy one if I didn't have my trade with me. Well, after about 20 minutes in a 2010 Platinum Graphite 370Z Sport Touring Coupe, I wound up with the salesman following me home with the Z to pick up my Acura, which they took sight unseen along with my check for the balance. I guess I am getting old, though, as I do enough shifting on the bike, so I got the Automatic, but I do love those paddle shifters! This is one VERY impressive automobile!!!!!!!!
