New to the370z and bought new Z
 

. Hi! I bought a new 2009 370Z Touring last week and having a blast with it.
. Two things I really miss from the Pontiac Gran Prix GTP I traded in: the HUD and the supercharger. I don't plan on adding a supercharger, but would really like to have a HUD. So far, all I have found are GPS-based speedos and multiple-thousands-of-dollars systems. Does anyone make a decent, under $300-400 HUD that will plug into the OBD and throw user-selected data on the windshield?

"The production of Defi-Link VSD X has been ended in April, 2010"
"The following item has been deactivated"
"DISCONTINUED"

. Thanks! That is almost exactly what I am looking for. I'm beginning to get the feeling that The Perfect HUD doesn't exist (for a reasonable price), but that unit comes close. Especially at that price point. :(

. I have run across a guy (control systems engineer) who thinks using an Arduino to fashion a HUD would be an interesting project. He has been working on a similar project and says he just needs to add a chip or two to talk to the OBD/CAN bus.
