Hi
I just bought my first Nissan and its a 370.. I feel like a kid at Christmas time!! My wife cant understand it nor can she understand why I need a radar detector..But I am excited.. Previously I owned a honda accord coup.. 4 cyl. I think this has a wee bit more power! Got a really great deal on a leftover 2009.. that right.. 2009.. must be the last one in America! Just thought I would join and see if I can make some new internet friends here. |

Welcome aboard and congratulations on your new 370Z! The feeling you are experiencing is not uncommon and is shared by most if not all of us who are fortunate to own one. Again, welcome and enjoy the forum here, there is lots of good information and people willing to share.

Of course every time I buy a car I figure I got taken in some way but this time I got a 2009, no previous owner, 380 miles today, touring and sports package for 33,000. What do you think?

But I wont get the car until Friday at the earliest. So maybe next week or the week after.. PS this is going to be the longest week in my life!! Last edited by RiCharlie; 10-18-2010 at 07:55 PM. |

My wife has this foolish idea that I intend to break the 65 mph speeding limit and that is why I want a radar detector. How can I convince her that its just something to ensure I am not falsely accused???

I haven't been married for a while now, but If I recall correctly, stuff like curtains and furniture tend to take a female's mind off her husband's new toys .

congrats on the Z, just explain your wife that it's piece of mind of knowing ahead of time if their is a speed trap ahead. 2 detection will pay off the radar, so it's a good investment.
