newbie here!
Just got my silver 370z with sports package.
I came from a 06 Wrx and this is one is simply more refined. I'm now getting looks from girls instead of teenage boys haha. Just one thing I've noticed from my car is that there is a sound from I believe is the shifter linkage, nothing bad but something sounds clunky or lose around 1st and 2nd gear only. we got 2 cars from the dealer the same day and my friends car has the exact same sounds. I'm sure its normal but I just wanted to check with you guys, maybe some new bushings would fix that? http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...iox/my370z.jpg |

You'll find that the transmission on this car is fairly noisy. Unless it's grinding on you there's nothing to be concerned about. |
Congrats and Welcome! :hello:
Pics? |
good to know its a normal noisy tranny!

Ahhh the 370 looks so good in silver.

sure going to miss the boost of the wrx but definately the Z is more refined. Congrats and welcome to the forum!

thanks guys! I'll post more pics soon.
First thing I want to do is fix the wheel offset by using stud replacement spacers (H&R brand) I'll probably do 15/20mm. Spacers are such a big NO NO with Subarus because the bearings die prematurely, would this be an issue on then Z? |
Lots of guys have been running spacers and there have been no issues as far as I know. I had H&R DRS 15/20 mm on my Z when I still had it. They were very nice.

Welcome aboard and congratulations! I have H&R DRS 15/20 spacers and have had no problems to date.
