Picking up my 370Z in 30 min!

I'm very excited to finally get this car. I originally special ordered one but then my local dealer just happened to see that there was one on the boat with the exact options I wanted!

2009 370Z
Pearl White
Manual Trans
Touring w/ Black Leather
Sport Package
Floor Mats
Illuminated Kick Plates
Splash Guards

Will try to post pics soon!!

Spare tire made by Enkei

YOU CANNOT TAKE OUT THE SPARE TIRE AND STILL HAVE THE SUBWOOFER FIT SECURELY. It will be loose and probably shake around.

I was in and out in about 30 minutes and most of the time was used to explain how things work in the Z :icon14:. It all depends on how organized is your dealer!

To the OP, congrats! drive safe!

Back already! haha...that was fast and easy. They were very fast and organized, and did not try to ******** me. Everything went as planned.

COUPE INTERESTING THINGS:

1. The spare tire is made by Enkei, amazing!

2. On the plastic parts, the pearl white does not QUITE match the pearl white color on the metal parts. Not sure if my camera can pick this up. I will try to post some pics soon.

3. During normal driving, there is some vibration that translates from the engine through to the shift knob. Is this normal? My Honda seemed to not do this, but then again it was a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder.

4. The Nissan tech (that works on the GT-Rs there) said that you SHOULD use the Nissan Ester oil, otherwise you may get noise from the VVEL system. He also said that it would not affect reliability, just that the system would make noise.

1. okay cool
2. happens in most cars, depends how obvious and how picky you are. i think my m3 body panels dont all match lol close enough tho considering the speed i go, so people wont notice
3. yes, sounds like a Z!
4. **** all tech's, even if he's right lol

2. Yeah....I think it is the way the underlying plastic reflects the light. Look at some other pictures of 370Zs, and even the silver ones has a slight difference in colors from the plastic to metal parts.

AK370Z 03-03-2009 08:01 PM

Vibration from the shift knob is completely normal. Congrats.

batman_4 03-03-2009 08:59 PM

The paint on the Pearl White 350's was always hard to match.....seems to still be the same issue with the 370

brisk 03-03-2009 09:08 PM

Congrats!

But what do you mean by plastic......not matching the pearl white.
Theres plastic part on the exterior???

Yes...plastic on the exterior (non metal parts like side skirts). It is pretty minor.

I POSTED PICS TOO. Look at first post now.

Such a sharp car! White looks good and it's the MOST popular color in Japan. Painted splash guards are a "must have". It completes the exterior look of the car. Enjoy the car! BTW, pictures don't do justice to these rims. Most appealing stock Z rims till date(IMO). Everyone that saw my car expressed how much they love the rims.
