from datsun 280z TO Nissan 370z
 

Just want to say Hi to all,
I owned a '77 Datsun 280z orange manual trans back in 1992 when I was young and broke, my friend sold it to me w/ some problem like 20% of the time it will get stuck on the first gear. I had to lay down on the ground to unjammed it on the bottom(I lost several floor mats doing that ). But anyway I sold it back to him after 7 months of using it, didn't have money to take care of it

Now after owning
'87 pontiac sunbird 2 door, it served me well
'97 blazer, hated it n
'07 Kia Sorento still own it n likes it( I live in the mountain I need 4WD car)
are all automatic

After 18 years I'm now back on driving a manual car and I'm loving every minute of it . I bought my MT 370z '09 w/ sports pack 10 days
ago . Everyday it always put a big smile on my face realizing I own a beautiful Z car. I will put some nice pics when the weather becomes sunny, it supposed to rain n snow in tahoe these coming days

i only like to drive a manual transmission car.
the last car i had before the 370z was a mercedes-benz c320. I told the salesman i wanted a manual transmission car and he said mercedes did not make such a car. i said i saw such a car on the mercedes website. he called the factory and the factory said no problem. i had to wait 3 months for them to build and ship the car here though :)

I'm glad that when I took my first driving lesson it was on a manual trans car. It kinda stuck on you after all these years not driving one.

Funny, the day I took the Z for a test drive, I told to the Internet sales manager when we were coming off the parking lot that the last time I drove a stick shift was 18 years ago. b4 the test drive they ask me couple of times if I ever driven a Z car, I told them that I test drove a Genesis Coupe but didn't tell them that it was an automatic

My first car was an '82 280ZX and after a '90 Skylark, '90 CRX, and a '00 Civic, my husband and I got an '06 Titan and an '83 280ZX. I just bought the '10 370Z back in January.
