New (to me) 2009 Touring with Sport Package

Hi guys, I'm Eric and I'm now part of the Z world.
I just picked up a 2009 Pearl White Touring with Sport Package with Persimmon Leather and Navigation.

It was pre-owned and only had 3800 miles on it. Got it for $33,700.
I'm pretty pleased about it. It has everything I wanted, plus Navigation which wasn't necessary for me but fun now that I have it.

I ordered my JDM/Euro Spec Rear Fog Light Kit for The Z Store today and I'll be calling Tony at Fast Intentions tomorrow to get on that long list of people who want his exhaust.

I'm coming from a Mazdaspeed3, so having all this low end torque and a motor that pulls all day is new to me, but I'm having a blast and enjoying how luxurious the car is inside.

Looking forward to reading about all your mods and learning what's what with this car.

Congrats!

It's funny to hear different people's takes on this car based on what they are coming from. I come from big V8s so I kind of laugh a little bit when I hear "low end torque" and "Z" in the same sentence... but alas, it's such a fun car! Enjoy it!

And you are making a great choice going with FI!!!

Nice! PW is the best color, they've done studies and found that only cool people drive pearl white cars

What % tint did you go with? I think I may end up with 35%, but I'm still undecided.

I did 45% SunTek Carbon on the doors and 35% on the hatch and corner windows.
Even the 45% looks dark because it's a white car. I went lighter than most people go because I didn't want to attract too much po-po attention. My Mazdaspeed3 had 20% all around and I was paying a $100 looking cool tax every other week with it until I went lighter on the front doors.

I had 15% on my Eclipse and it was a pain to see out of at night, but it looked good :-P. I'm thinking 35% all around (legal limit in KY for side, behind driver is 20%). Dark enough to look sleek but still retain the classy appeal of the car.
