BIG THANKS to Robert Nash for the VPP plan (A few dealers refused my VPP claim number for this car, but I eventually found one). Also, thanks for the finacing tips AK! I ended up going with penfed since the dealer could not beat their rate.

Unfortunately, she is staying garaged for now, until I can get paint protection installed. I plan to do the whole hood, bumper, mirror backs and fenders. Some may say this is overkill, but I took a look at my Scion with 60k highway miles, and sure enough I have a few chips going all the way up the hood. Hopefully I'll get to drive her sometime next week.

Isn't she a beaut! Congrats! I know how you feel...I dropped off my Z at the shop that did the tint and clear bra right away after driving it off the dealer's lot and didn't get to drive her again for 4 days. Well worth it though, now that it's done. Enjoy your new ride.

Congrats! Where abouts in NJ are you?

BalanBro 03-28-2010 01:34 PM

Thanks for the warm welcome! I live/work up in Bergen county, but the car is currently in central, NJ in my dad's garage. The earliest appointment I got for the ventrushield install was April 11th (figures, as next week is Easter and all). Until then, she isn't going to be moving much.

Can't wait to get the install done with so I can drive around with piece of mind. Everytime my tC got struck by something audible, a little piece of me died inside.

So far, I ordered the Stillen license plate bracket to avoid drilling the bumper and an aftermarket nav install will happen sometime this summer. Let the money pit begin! :ughdance:
