Excited 40th Anni Owner
Hi everyone...new member here. I picked up my Z last night.
As soon as I noticed the little 40th Anniversary section of nissanusa.com I signed up for updates/literature. I didn't hear anything for a while, but one day noticed that it was a "build your own" option. I immediately emailed 5 dealerships to try and reserve one. One dealership contacted me saying there weren't any in IL, but they found three in St. Louis. Long story short, my dealer traded an Armada for it. It was trailered to me with only 9 miles on the clock! I requested the dealer not prep it for me. I'm an amateur detailer and wanted to do it myself. Consequently, as far as I can tell (haven't looked really well) there aren't any scratches/swirls yet. I've only driven it the 2 miles home so far. Need to get a clear bra installed before I go too crazy. On to the pics....Adam - The nice Do Not Touch note my salesman put in the window! - Interior with plastics still in place. - 9.3 miles! I'm pretty sure that means I'm the only non-employee that's driven it. - The Z next to my daily driver. 96 Accord. Got 153k miles and going strong. |

Badass man! Grats! Saw one in person Sat and it looks good Love the color too!
That note is perfect btw, all dealers should use those. EDIT: Speaking of the seats, they look MUCH better in person.

Yeah, the seat color is a bit out there...but I'll get used to it. I love the note too, they were all giving me crap about it. Like "Yeah, we get a guy like you every once in a while, but hey it's your car..."
All good |

Congrats on your 40th!! The car looks much better in person, doesn't it?
I like the note too...almost thought about doing the same thing, but figured I'd let it be. I don't have much luck with no front plate and police around here. Anyway...ENJOY and WELCOME!! |

These pictures make me wish I had waited for a 40th anniversary edition 370z. I absolutely love the color combination!!
But when I look back on the past 10 months of ownership, I don't regret getting PW at all. Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the site!
