Just ordered our 09 370Z....ETA Feb2

Hello...I am new to the forum...I just purchased my first Z....A 370 Touring with Sport Package, AT7 & Navigation in Monterey Blue....I have recieved a VIN # and Nissan says it is on its way....Should be delivered Feb 2nd....We are excited about picking it up....We drove the one at the local Nissan dealer and all we could say was "Sham Wow"....It was a red sport model with the AT7 Trans....My wife started out a bit modest babying the pedals a bit for 15 miles....Then it was my turn....I was blown away from the performance, it was everything I had read about in the car mags and more....Braking is smooth and quick...AT7 trans is awesome with the paddle shifters...And do yourself a favor and test it with the "VDC" switch in the "off" position....0-60 quikly....The only negative we could even come close to recognizing was the "road noise"....Significant to our other vehicles, but understandable as to how close you are to the road inside the 370.....I ordered one immediately...Will post some pictures soon as we recieve it...Talked to the dealer yesterday about ordering the NISMO exhaust.....:ughdance:

Cool that you had the wife driving around with you! Hopefully I'll get to do that too later on, although my wife won't take a turn because she refuses to drive a non-automatic (boo!).

Have her drive an AT7 using the paddle shifters....

You get the same feeling as the MT without having to clutch.....The AT7 holds the gears long enough to have the same feel as the MT and the paddle shifters are a blast...Once she tries it she will love it....My wife had the same exact feeling about the AT and vowed she would never purchase a sports car without a MT...After driving the 370Z with the paddle shifters, she changed her mind....

Not quite sure yet as to how much the exhaust is? Will keep you posted when they let me know....With install....

Welcome to the forums. It's great you let your wife test drive the car as well. The paddle shifters are just perfect! They feel great. Feel free to write a review on your new Z once you get it. Also, you can post your purchase price (Don't feel obligated if you don't want to) here in the thread below. It'll help many new buyers get an idea how much they should pay for their new Z
