New 370z owner
 

Hi, I finally took the plunge and bought a 370z (manual GT), a 2017 with 8,000 on the clock in the pearlescent white. Always loved the Z since sitting in a 350 at a uk motor show 15+ years ago but only recently had the opportunity to buy one after driving a succession of bmw, Audi and merchant company cars for the last 20 years.
Read many many reviews and almost talked myself out of buying one. The reviews are fairly mixed with some of the journos seeming to be determined not to like the car. Coarse, harsh, noisy, unsophisticated, uncomfortable, old fashioned, seen all these comments and more.

What do I think? I think the Z is fantastic. What a numbing driving experience so many of those German cars have offered. The only criticism of the Z I’d agree with 100% is the lack of rear vision.

I've determined, over the last 5 years, that the writers are (mostly) full of crud.
Yes, she's prone to road noise on rough pavement, the oil cooling needs help if you are prone to extended bouts of spirited driving, and the clutch slave cylinder (CSC) can be problematic, but this is the car I've been working towards for 30 years.
I've driven Mustangs, BMW M's and a few others, and this is the one I'm planning on keeping.

Yo I finally got a Z! i got a 2019 370z and in manual too like a month ago i really enjoy this car everyday I drive it. Looking foward for many fun years ahead with my new Z.
