370Z Black Rose Coupe

Well, the big day finally arrived and we took delivery of the new Z. Serial # 1615 for a Black Rose Sport Nav 6spd. The dealer says it is the first Black Rose coupe sold in Canada. Considering I ordered the car in August last year, I would hope so!

First impressions: the colour is gorgeous! It is black at night and metallic Black Rose in the sun. In the garage I see more of the brown tones but I also have fluorescent lights there.

I have the Enkei EK2 Eurosport 18" wheels and Dunlop Graspic DS3 tires on her for the winter. European Window Tinting did the rear and side quarters as well as an amazing job on the 3m clear bra. They covered the entire front bumper, 24" of the hood, A pillars, 10" of the roofline, Rocker panels, and rear wheel flares (front and rear of the opening). They did a stellar job.

One big disappointment however.... the dealer affixed a dealer sticker that I had told them not to. They said no problem and removed it while I was signing papers. I came back to the vehicle and they had dug a hole in the paint on the bumper about the size of a dime! They are now going to have to repaint the entire bumper to repair it. Or replace the bumper. I will have to see how they do at the repainting.

Looking forward to warmer weather to really enjoy this beast! Thanks to everyone for advice and support while I awaited delivery!!

The colours are the same. they are just renamed for the United States and Canada. I can't believe how sexy this thing looks!!!

What are your plans once spring arrives?

Well, I definitely expect to be driving it more when the weather improves. There are a few of us with Z's in Edmonton so we should plan a get together in the spring. A rally to Banff would be cool too!

Spring isn't too far away..once were in March I'm happy! Time to put the 20"s back on :)

I just saw a Black Cherry coupe at the local dealers this afternoon. It looked real nice..... course I am partial to the color already.

Are those different wheels? They don't look like the base or sport wheels from 2009. What size are they? Are they "winter" wheels?

EDIT: I should have looked closer at the first post. I see they are aftermarket.

No Problem. They are Enkei's in 18" with Dunlop Graspic DS3's. They look pretty good for winter wheels I think....

I gotta say I'm pretty jealous! I think you've got about the exact car I'm looking for here in Ottawa. There are none available anywhere in Canada according to my dealer. I expect to meet with them later this week to get an order started. Do you have the Charcoal or the Frost interior?

As far as I know, no one ordered the car in Black Rose in the November build time except me. More will I am sure but I think I have the only one from that build in Canada... :icon17:

As for the interior, frost looks nice, until it meets Mr.Coffee.... and I like coffee. So Charcoal was the logical choice for a long term nice looking interior.
