Hey ladies and gents, may I please introduce you to my new 2019 Sport Touring! Yeah, I am going to be beaten with the payments, but I DO NOT CARE!

If you don't know:

First Z, totaled by a jack knifed semi on the 710 fwy

Second Z, totaled 2 weeks ago by an 87 year old granny running a red light

My third Z, I swear!!!! I MEAN I swear, I will, I will, just hire a lawyer and increase my premiums on my insurance to cover my behind. And get GAP! It SAVED MY bootay! (but not from the dealer)

I'm soooo excited, but..... I am in soooo much pain still. I got the car because in California, if you replace your totaled vehicle with a similar make and model, the other persons insurance must pay and reimburse you the tags, title and registration fees!

Google...my best friend said so..... :happydance:

But i can't really lift my left arm to drive it, and I am on some goooood stuff! So it's just gonna chill in my garage for maybe another week till I can start tolerating the advil instead of the valium!

So the old one is paid off, now gotta go fight the second Z's dealer to give me a refund on that dang warranty and I'm good. I'm just confused on it. If the warranty was rolled into the contract, but my insurance actually paid more for the loss, because i had made my regular car payment, does the dealership still send the check to finance company and they then send me the difference, because it is going to be majorly over, will the dealership cut me the check, or will they be slick and try to keep it for themselves.....

Hmmmm, even my attorney was a little iffy on that one. But I can't wait to give that car a proper wash, he's dirty! I'm a girl, and my car is allowed to be a boy O.K.!

:D

OH! And they seriously messed up at Gardena Nissan, they took like $3800 off MSRP, which like NEVER happens! I think they felt bad or something and I batted my eyes alot!

LOL, cool deal. I am not sure what you are asking about the payoff. Confused. The warranty company will issue the dealer your refund and they will cut you a check.

envisous 10-09-2018 11:22 PM

Oh, i was confused, because so i owed 32,000 on the last car, but the insurance paid out like 33,000 because I made a payment since the accident.

So i didn't know how the refund on the warranty would go since it would be an over payment.

NMAC will be sending me back already the over payment difference from the insurance payout. I thought the dealership would just send the check to the lien holder, since it was rolled into the original contract. Then since it would be an over payment of about 3,000 that they already got paid for on a closed account, paid by the insurance company, NMAC would just send it back to the insurance adjusters, or the dealer and they just keep it for themselves or something. Or would they just cut me the check at the dealership since i have the proof of over payment and they just issue me the check.

My attorney said it looks like i should get the check i think...... I dunno. I am out $5000 on the last Z, from the aftermarket stuff, so it would help recoup some stuff.

Looks good! Be careful with cleaning the wheels (18-19 Sport). They show scratches because of the black and even the machined part. They are clear coated of course. Jim D. at Mothers recommended their plastic polish since the clear coating on wheels isn’t the same as the body. The wheels don’t chip as easy.

I haven’t seen another 18 or 19 Sport in my area in the past year. Manual Sport Tech/Touring are very scarce.

Give it a good detail and finish off with Meguiars Fast Finish. See reviews.

Speed safely

I'm glad to see you're back in the saddle ( sort of ) !
I've read about your latest accident but I missed the fact it was your second total, WOW !
Be safe, and I hope you're fully compensated for your pain and suffering

I avoid the 710 like the plague! Too many ahole truckers and potholes. Is their insurance taking care of the medical portion too? My opinion, if the other driver caused you any physical pain/limitations that wasnt occuring before, youre entitled to compensation!

:iagree: The other problem with the 710 is all the crap that falls off the trucks laying all over the road.

trbo1007 10-10-2018 03:33 PM

If you want to talk about crap on the road, drive I85 from Atlanta to Charlotte. Better yet, drive 285 around Atlanta. They call it the ‘Ring of Hell’ for a reason.
