Merry Christmas All from Houston,

Just got my new 09 370Z in Chicane Yellow. Bone-stock 6MT base model.

This one sat on the lot since April; and I'm a bit worried. The odometer had about 180 miles on it, and the gas mileage display showed 11 MPG - maybe lots of test drives at high RPM?

In addition, I read the break in procedure AFTER a couple of 6000 RPM romps up the on-ramp, due to my joyous lack of restraint after leaving the lot. I hope this doesn't cause any serious wear, so I'll have to cool it for another 1200 miles or so.

Anyway - I think it's an awesome looking car. I'll be looking for some cats and pipes in the near future.

Welcome to the forums, assuming a couple 6,000RPM runs doesn't mean 1000 miles worth I don't think you'll have much to worry about
