New owner of a 2017 sport 370z. What is the first mod I should get?
Hi guys new Z owner here. First japanese car I have ever owned coming from a JCW Mini Cooper 2 Door Hard Top. Just love the looks of the 370z. Was wondering what should be the first mod I should get for this car? I'm thinking a new radio with back up camera. What do you guys think?

Welcome to the 370Z forums and congratulations. Being a first owner of a 370Z these cars are overall very reliable/dependable vehicles as long as you do the required maintenance that is. Modifiying these cars is really enjoying. The first modification I would do would be to install a 24 or 34 row oil cooler which ever you prefer. If you have any other questions about our cars don’t be afraid to ask.

Sway bars will be the most noticeable mod you can do that doesn't cost a fortune.

Your '17 has an oil cooler from the factory which should be sufficient unless you use the car on the track.
I'd suggest a cat-back exhaust, if not the new radio+backup cam you suggested. Enjoy the car!

Radio & back up camera are good ideas, but don't forget to add the two back speakers while you're at it. I'm not sure about the 17 but my 13 sport Z never had them.
Exhaust and sways would then be next up for me. Congrats & enjoy! |

Feel free to ask questions about anything/ as the Z’s run deep! Some people choose to flush out their wheels w/spacers & others choose to order a premium custom exhaust (such as Fast-Intentions). Lots of things to choose from.

There is a thread on this already but I would organize my mod into 4 groups.
First would be sways, suspension, exhaust, and intakes. Second would be oil cooler, 4.08 final drive, and CSC/clutch/flywheel upgrade. Third is a tune. An aggressive tune. Fourth would be a nice body kit and a set of wheels but this is subjective. [Official] Which 1st mod(s) for my Z thread.
