Been browsing forum since 2010 (i think), signed up in 2011, bought it today.

The blind spot is no joke    but I'm happy I finally decided to get it.

Welcome,
I'll bet your happy to have finally pulled the trigger on that fine looking Z.
There is a thread on how to properly adjust your mirrors, it really works wonders ! I use to have some blind spot mirrors, but they ( for me ) were terrible at night, read that post & things are 99% better!

LMBO seriously I read about the blind spot in consumer reports before purchase. But when I actually experienced it was like wow, howhat in the world is this design legit!?? Some days I pull out and wait for impact...so SMH. But on my second Z cause this car is sUchiha a blast to drive. Congrats and enjoy!:driving:

Good luck!

Youll get used to it man, I remember sticking my head out the window like ace ventura to make sure merge lane was empty. Trust the mirrors!!!

I intuitively go by the posted system, and blind spots become a total non-issue. But of course, if you're not sure someone's behind you during a lane change, just drive faster. Not too hard to do this car.

I, too, just got mine and am having a tough time with the blind spots.. I've grown slightly accustomed to it, but if I want to back into a parking spot, it's difficult. I wish mine had the backup camera.

Otherwise, I'm madly in love!
