Picked up a used 2015 PW touring in MN
Hello all,
I am a new owner of a 2015 PW touring. Total impulse buy on my part. I went in to see what the cost of ordering a 2016 would be and ended up taking home a used 2015 w/ 6k miles a couple hours later. All in all I'm happy with it. It's not exactly what I would have ordered, but it was the right color and had most of the things I was looking for. The price and interest rate were good so I just went for it. The learning curve for this car has thrown me however. I've pretty much drove VW's for the last 10 years and still have a 2014 Touareg as my daily. Finding parts and getting them here has been interesting to say the least. I know what I'm doing most of the time. My last car was a 2011 Golf TDI tuned running a straight pipe all the way back off the turbo. I did most of the work myself so I'm able to take on projects. The vast variety of vendors and products is mind numbing at times, but I'm picking things up now however thanks to this site. Looking foreward to learning more and enjoying the journey. This is the first Japanese car I've owned in 25 years so it's all new to me. Jeff |

Thank you as well. I just installed coils yesterday and have spent more time adjusting ride height than it took me to do the swap. I keep thinking it's going to rub and then I see the set ups people are running here with no issues and I go a little lower. I guess I'm being a little to cautious. Some of the pics I've seen look like they would rub constantly. |

I scrubbed and scraped while on coils in my previous Z. I was too low but it looked sooooo good. Shocks didn't last long at all either. I'm wiser with my new Z, Swift springs and I'm totally pleased.

Welcome!
Did you buy the car from Wayzata by chance? I'll be picking up a NISMO Juke from there most likely in the near future and wanted to see how the buying experience was. |

Yes I did. I had never been to that dealership before and had heard both good and bad things about it. It wasn't the best place I've bought a car at, but it was a quick and easy process. I went in right when they opened on a Saturday and was home before noon. The one I was most interested in was buried in front of the building and my salesman Sam moved a bunch of cars to get it out for the test drive. I even told him I didn't need to drive that specific one right away. He even followed me home to drop off my VW and bring me back to the dealership while my paperwork was being taken care of.
