thoughts on FASTEST ACCELERATION 0-60

Proud new owner of my 2016 370z… loving it :happy dance:
I've had it about a month and am starting to really have some fun with it.
I have the MT - was curious what people's thoughts were on the best shift points. - like, if your trying to get to 60 mph as fast as possible, what are the recommended RPM'S for shifting. I am no master, but I am getting decent.
Its seems like if i gas it hard in 1st and get the RPMS up to 5,000 or above before i shift, 2nd its not that smooth. if i shift into 2nd around 3,000 RPMS it seems smoother.
I have been told your obviously not supposed to look, but just listen and feel it for the best time to shift, but wondering if anyone has a rough idea on what the best time to shift is if the goal is the get to 60 as quick as possible and really give my passenger a treat.

also, do you hit 60 mph in 2nd or do you hit it in 3rd ?

You hit 60 in second gear. Shifts are perfect at redline.

Please remember that you have the 6MT and constant 0-60 hard accelerations will put premature stress on your CSC.

CSC issues are not usually covered under warranty. And they have a failure of 95%. There is a huge thread in here about this. Take a look.

Yeah they are, take a look. Lol
99% are covered under the 3/36k, and those who are smart or have good dealers get theirs fixed under the power train warranty

I wonder why many dealer deny CSC repairs under warranty then.

Where do you get your info?

Maybe I'm mistaken with something else. Carry on...

If you're in need of the quickest way to get to 60 mph from a stop, just redline the engine in every gear on the way there. It will increase fuel consumption rate, but I doubt it will hurt the CSC; it may put more load on drivetrain parts (clutch friction materials, gearbox internals, etc.) and, if you did it wrong, the clutch disc might be overheated from too much slip.

You bought a Z for redlight acceleration / drag racing?

Good luck explaining your story to your local Nissan Service Manager when it comes time to replace it and you're expecting Nissan to replace it for free. :inoutroflpuke:
