New Z owner
Hey everyone. I've been lurking for a while but finally pulled the trigger on my '12 Z. I couldn't be more excited! I drove down to Pittsburgh this morning from Buffalo to pick it up. I had my 04 g35 coupe for 11 years and always wanted a Z but couldn't bring myself to sell my g. Finally decided to sell it and shop for a Z. Fast forward three week and here I am with a new car. I don't think I'll get to modding this like I did my g (motordyne tdx2, spl rear camber and toe arms and spl front camber arms, coilovers, volks, sways, vortech ect) but who knows. Enough time on the forum and I'm sure the mod bug will hit hard. Looking forward to being a part of the forum!

Congrats !!! Welcome to the forum.

Thanks everyone! On the drive home yesterday I realized I can't live with the exhaunt that's on it because of the drone. It looks to be an eBay/beluga exhaust from my quick research. So with that, looks like I'll be replacing it with either a FI or Motordyne catback (unless further research changes my decision). So much for not doing anything to the Z right off the bat haha

Very Nice. Welcome UP.:tiphat:

Welcome.
Fast Intentions exhaust FTW |
Looks good, as did your G!

Well spring can't come soon enough. Just received my Motordyne catback today! The car's in storage for another month unless it warms up sooner. I decided to go Motordyne vs Fast Intentions because I loved how my TDXv2 sounded/looked on my G. I'm hoping to make a few videos in spring that show aspects of the exhaust I tried to find on YouTube/the internet but couldn't because they were either not available or had bad video quality. COMMON SPRINGS GET HERE SOON!

Welcome,
Congrats on your first Z. FYI, I daily drive mine in Pittsburgh. With skinnier 4x4 wheel "18x9" and blizzaks, it handles hills, snow and ice like a boss. Under carriage wash each week and enjoy. That's for me and not for everyone. I am personally a fan of the HKS exhaust just because of the bump in performance and less drone. I know you will do modz if your other car is any indication. |
Welcome and congratulations on the Z!

Great purchase. Enjoy your Z!
