Hi All.
Last weekend I purchased a used red 15' 370Z with sports package. She only had 1,800 miles, so basically still new. Here's my story; Used to drive Honda Preludes in my early 20's (now at 40). Got into trail riding dirt bikes, which was a passion that lasted 12 years until I hurt my back taking out the garbage. During that period I only had a Toyota 4X4 to haul the dirt bike, and also drove Honda CBR motorcycles. Ended up getting married and learned that the sport bike wasn't getting much use because my wife and I spend lots of time with each other. Decided that if i'm going to liquidate my motorcycles, I deserve to drive something fun. Last year I was seriously interested in the BRZ or FRS until I test drove both. Just not enough power! I considered a Subaru STI but the over-population and demand driven pricing steered me away. Whenever I travel I always get the Dodge Challenger, because it's fun to drive. A few months ago my friend came over for dinner and he was driving a rental 370Z with automatic transmission. He let me take my wife for a spin in it, and the experience was horrible! There was a lot of stuttering and shift hesitation, and all was looking bad until I was able to open it up on a straight section of road. I floored it and my wife screamed When I felt myself get pushed back in the seat, I knew that this would be the car I want so long as a non-rental, manual transmission doesn't drive like the rental did. After debating which model to get (Nismo, Sports, Base, etc.) I was leaning towards a 2012 Nismo that only had 16k miles for 33k. The major problem for me was that all the windows and rear tail lights were heavily tinted. My father knew I was shopping for a 370Z, and found a red 2015 370Z with MT and only 1,800 miles for 29.9k! I bought the car after the test drive, and I've been loving it. Knowing that I know diddly about 370Zs, I hope I can find lots of information that will help me maintain my Z and replace the garbage stereo and speakers that came with the car. |

We can help with everything. As for the audio, the search button will be your friend, or you can check out the audio section. there are a few of us on here that have had the car apart extensively and know audio for sure.
Also, Welcome!

I'd love to take/post some pics, but tomorrow will mark the 2nd week it's been at the dealership for warranty repair. My wife noticed the passenger seat belt coming out wet, and it's been raining here heavily for the past month. The techs at the dealership found that the weather stripping that's on the roof (not door) was the source of the leaks. This is the first time I've had to use a factory warranty, thankfully.
