Hey Dylan, great choice! I do think you are going to be spending a lot of time washing the car tho!
One of the most fun things I can think of to do with your new toy is to take it to the track. It's a great way to figure out what you can and cannot get away with in the car! Maybe you can convince your folks to do it too, since they seem to like sports cars. I'd recommend Car Guys (Car Guys' High Performance Driving School) who run events at Summit Point, VIR, and Shenandoah, among other places. I remember doing this with my mom. She was damn sharp, and took fastest time of the day at the autocross, to the great chagrin of all the macho guys hanging around. Of course, we didn't let on that she'd had track days before. Anyway, it's great fun and I highly recommend it. Enjoy your car, and watch out for the krazies! |

you will be egged onto race many a times... esp in college... im sure there are some honda kids w/ some crazy turbos set up... just keep it at the drag strip and remember... your car isnt fun to drive if its being towed - so stay safe and have fun man... you are lucky to have cool parents... just dont disappoint them w/ tickets and scratches
Welcome to the boards... post questions but obviously - search first |

The ones you really gotta watch out for are those sleeper CRX's... If you ever see a CRX pull up with 4 different color body panels and a huge can in the back, forget it... Hes got a turbo the size of a bowling ball under the hood...

**** we had Vettes, GTOs, Vipers, and a whole lot more on my campus running all kinds of ridiculous boost as well as the occasional Porsche Turbo...

must not tarnish new persons thread............
Welcome to the forum man I can't help myself, I got Vespas running around pushing at least 356 pounds of boost. The turbo is hooked onto the back of the "ped" (as they like to call them) These will blow any of those sissy cars out of the water. C'mon R8, P-Cars, hell even lambos and F-Cars don't stand a chance. Plus rumor has it to build one is Koenigsegg territory of money. BALLIN!!! |
