Picked up my 370Z last night

370Z Touring
Platinum Graphite/ Persimon
Sport Package
Navi Package
$40K

Dealer had it marked up $5K over msrp, I negotiated for over 2hours
slowly got them to come down to msrp, they wouldn't budge any more,
was the right color and all the packages I wanted, so I had to do it.

Price: $40,415.35 (sticker)

But I had a trade in and they did pretty well on it. Probably $750 off of sticker in reality.

I would like to congratulate each one of you! Enjoy the 370Z. Feel free to make your pictures thread (in the media section). Tell us how the 6MT rev match is working out for you or the 7 speed 7AT. Also, feel free to write reviews on anything you may wish. Many members are going to count on your guys to give out true reviews since the magazine reviews can be biased sometimes.

Enjoy your car. Be safe. Just few months back, this forum was nothing but a Vb software with 0 threads and 0 members. But it come a long way! Has anyone leased there's yet? If so, how much are you paying monthly?

RDGR12 01-07-2009 02:45 PM

The price seem steep. Or is it people who bought the 370z so far just love the car too much that they didn't want to haggle or walk away? I think you guys could've done better?

+1 for putting together a community of Z enthusiasts!

Dealer was giving me a slight discount. I almost pulled the trigger on $400 below sticker for base but I'm not settling for that. However, once I'm able to do a reasonable ~29K for a base I'm sold.

I also bought "ordered" mine today.

2009 370Z Touring + Sport Package
Chicane Yellow/Black Leather $38,155
7-speed Automatic $1300
Chicane Yellow $500
Splash Guards $220
Carpeted Floor Mats $115
Illuminated Kick Plates $200
Carpeted Trunk Mat $95

MSRP $40,585
Invoice: $37,319

I'm paying $600.00 over invoice.
I have a account with ESL which is giving me 4.94% 60 months

I'm refusing to pay over 30K for the 370z. Had an interesting conversation with the owner of the 4 local dealerships in the area tonight and his sales leader minion. Printed out the sales ad where Carmax in MD is selling the touring model with sport package for 34k at 500 under invoice and the sales leader basically told me that he couldnt even entertain an offer that low on a brand new model. He gave lots of excuses--something about how Nissan is in cahoots with Carmax, etc.. I wished him good luck selling the 12 leftover 350's on his lot and laughed all the way to the parking lot knowing that they're asking about 8 thousand over invoice on their sole 370.

WoW. Buyers market is the dealership's worst nightmare. Those guys are rediculous
