Well, I would like to say that, the z34 has been the best car I've purchased and I'm glad I got it.

As far as mods go, I will be going the slow route. Maybe do cosmetic changes and interior before jumping under the hood since I'm not a racer, more of an enthusiast and I plan to keep it that way for a while, maybe a couple of track times but that's about it lol...

Anyway, I attend car shows mostly for photography and so far I've enjoyed the atmosphere.

my IG is @Zeroz34 and website is Davicillo - Car Meets

Side note:

If any member here that is from the Coachella Valley that would like to make a team/crew hit me up! I've been trying to find Z owners but non have responding on CL nor IG.

Thanks!

Congrats and welcome!

Given that you have a '09, make sure that you address the potential steering lock issue. Also, if you are going to track your Z, you should seriously consider an oil cooler. If you have any issues finding threads on the forum for either/both of these, let me know and I'll post them for you.

I've researched a tiny bit of information on that steering lock issue. Isn't that for those that have a tendency to want to move their wheels after shut-off?

Also, hell yea, thank you for the heads up on the oil cooler. I'm not much of a racer (only amateur stuff down in Mexico lol) so, no idea what else I would need just for a couple of hours of track time.

The earlier models have issues with the steering lock getting stuck, which can be a costly affair if you don't proactively address it. The easiest way to deal with it is to pull a fuse. There are some other ways to fix the problem, too, so I've listed several links for you to review. Good luck and ask questions. There are a lot of very knowledgeable folks here to help!

Steering lock problem solved (for real)

ATTENTION!! 2009-2010 owners with steering lock/wont start issues

DIY: Replace dreaded steering-lock on 2009s and early 2010s.
