First Post: New Proud Parent - Blacked out 370Z (pics included)
Hello EveryOne,
I am excited to say that I have become a part of the 370Z family. I have been on the board for about a year and have always admired these cars. I finally found one that I like at the right price. Please view pics below - I pick her up Saturday. From what I can tell she has aftermarket intake, exhaust, front and rear bumbers, maybe some suspension of some sort - new rim and tires (not sure of brand) and the sport pack. She is a 2010 with 47k miles on her. Please feel free to comment. I am so excited I can barely contain myself. I am a car guy and have had an e46 m3 comp package, and c6 base and c6 Z06 in the past. Due to gas/tire/insurance/ etc the Z06 had to go :( . But I love all cars in general. :driving: http://www.the370z.com/members/cente...magejpeg-4.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/cente...magejpeg-1.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/cente...magejpeg-2.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/cente...magejpeg-3.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/cente...magejpeg-5.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/cente...magejpeg-0.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/cente...magejpeg-6.jpg |
Nice! Looks in good shape! Congrats and welcome!

Thanks guys - like i said I can not WAIT until Saturday - I live in Austin and have a nice drive to Houston to get her.
Questions - with your experience do you think the car has been tuned due to exhaust and intake - coming from a bmw/ corvette background I find the three usually come hand and hand. Or is a tune not a usual mod on a 370. Sorry nuwb question but I am new to these cars ... |
thats almost the same car as mine (even the miles) I just dont have the aftermarket rear bumper and carbon front lip (but I wish I did!)

Anyone one know what type of exhaust that is? I only ask because this will be my daily - so i know it sounds like a p**sy but I hope its not TOO loud. when I got my Z06 it has some aftermarket - and the drone was SO bad I had to go back to stock... .
On the other hand it may be JUST right and make the car sound great. Any input would be greatly appreciated. |

The exhaust is a Berk catback (stacked mufflers) http://i561.photobucket.com/albums/s...ZExhaust05.jpg and possibly Berk HFC but like Chuck said you'd have to get under to verify http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/w...c-350zcats.jpg Wheels resembles Axis Shine or Katana cr5, check center cap for brand http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheel..._maa_ci3_l.jpg Stillen G3 intake, CF EVO-r front lip, CF front nose finisher (EVO-r?), replica Amuse rear bumper, paint matched door handles and front emblem. Being a 2010, I'd look into whether the previous owner had the steering lock issue fixed or you can search the DIY stickies how to remove the fuse for it. Other things to be aware are oil consumption and the inevitable MSC/CSC failure. Other than that the car is looking great. Nice seats and navi  |
umm please elaborate or link "MSC/CSC failure." - ill search as well
