My new Nismo Z!
Unfortunately she had some curb damage and some other problems from the stealer ship I picked her up at like illegal(limo tint), bad clear coat damage (it was raining and dark when I got there :ugh2: ) and shifter rattle. However she is mine now currently at another stealer ship waiting on new shifter assembly that's on back order :ugh2: Worst buying experience I've ever had but best birthday present I could ever get myself Can't wait until she is out of their hands and back in mine :driving: Sorry for the bad pictures but that's all I have since it's been at a stealer ship with issues since I bought her last month. I'm going to give her the love she needs though. Not that great of a deal but I wanted a Nismo either new or CPO and she had 7114 miles on her couldn't pass that up on a CPO, even though she shouldn't have passed inspection for a CPO even my local dealerships agree. Don't mean to be negative because I am very excited to have another Z but I just want to be able to drive her just made second payment on her today and I've only driven her maybe for 6 days since feb 16th day of purchase. All that said she is still mine even though she's not right in front of me at the moment!

Congrats! Nice ride...

Excellent choice. Whats up with the clear coat???
|
Congrats! Is it a '13? I much prefer those darker wheels than the lighter ones on my '12.

schellingr the clear has spots all in it hood, roof, etc... it was raining when I got it so I didn't notice the selling stealer ship really got me. Then When I got her back today the stealarship locally scratched up my baby up all over I'm pretty POd about it all plus the 2 and a half week wait wasn't worth it because the shift rattle is still there they acted like it was fixed but they heard it on the test drive tried to blame it on something "un fixable". It's in the shifter though I feel and hear it, it lessons when you hold the shifter. On top of that there is a lot of play in the shfter that wasn't there before I'm thinking about a short throw now. I already ordered my takeda stage 2 cai last night once I'm finished she will run smooth :)
I agree I specifically stayed away from 12 for that reason I just got her back today. In worse shape than I took her to the dealership to no surprise lol Once I try to fix their horrible attempt at a claybar buff wax and polish I'll have some pics |
Very nice, Congrats and welcome.

Thank You!

nice purchse

I read your original post and was angered. But think on the plus side. Once you have her back you will have time to spend with her and get her back into shape. Just give her some TLC. :tiphat:

BTW congrats. Fine looking ride.

Nice Nismo Nef!

Now get their stupid logo off your new car
|
trust me that's coming off, I'm having some problems with the dealership I bought it from so I'm leaving them on temporarily to prove I didn't do anything to the paint.
Thanks falicfr ya I finally have her back but the paint is in worse condition then when I took it in and shifter rattle is the same if not worse. I don't believe they did anything to her. I'm not giving up though too much money invested to turn around and put towards paint problems and shifters when I have my stage 2 takeda cold air (wanted something different then the gen 3) on the way and could spend money towards some high flow cats :) I'm excited and aggravated lol If they would just put the damn clear coat over it and fix the shifter I would be happy. |
